A Donated Church Cleaning in Polk County: with Everett Whitehead & Son

Last year, with our friends at Everett Whitehead & Son, we donated a full church cleaning right here in Polk County, start to finish, on the house. It's still one of the jobs we're proudest of.

By Beverly Hughes, Commercial Operations Lead, Orchid Cleaning Service. She landed Orchid's first commercial office building and built its commercial division.

How it came together

We've worked alongside Whitehead's crew for years: they build it, we make it shine for the handoff. On the church, they handled construction and we donated the cleaning.

What we cleaned

The sanctuary, with all its seating and floors
The fellowship hall and classrooms
The kitchen and restrooms
Glass and fixtures throughout, plus the fine construction dust that settles on every surface after the work

Our crew ran a full detail so the congregation walked into a space that felt cared for, not a job site that had just cleared out.

Why we said yes

Orchid started in 2011 as a small, family-rooted Polk County company. When a church, a school or a neighbor needs a hand, we try to make room for it.
