Daily Post-Construction Cleaning on a Polk County Commercial Build

Orchid was the cleaning subcontractor to a general contractor on a large Polk County commercial build. We had a crew of 2 to 6 on site every day for about six months (26 weeks), billed at $4,750 a week, roughly $125,000 in total.

The job

Our customer was the general contractor, not the owner. The contractor's confidentiality and publicity terms cover the project, so we don't name it, the owner or the site. Everything here comes from our own scope, crew and billing records.

Crew: 2 to 6 cleaners on site every day
Work: daily post-construction cleanup (dust, debris and trades tracking through nonstop), plus the daily disinfection the site's COVID-19 protocols required
Length: about six months, or 26 weeks
Billing: $4,750 a week, about $125,000 gross. We billed weekly, but the crew was there daily.
